Overview
The goal was to create a visual identity and design system for QUE proReader that balances premium elegance with functional precision. The logomark interprets the letter “Q,” subtly evoking a paper curl and referencing the device’s flexible, paper-like display technology—thin, lightweight, and durable—while maintaining a minimal, modern aesthetic. Inspired by Swiss design principles, the design system emphasizes simplicity, structure, and timeless functionality, ensuring a cohesive and refined experience throughout the brand. Akkurat was chosen as the primary typeface for its clean, neutral sans-serif forms, offering high readability, modern elegance, and a subtle personality that sets it apart from traditional sans-serifs like Helvetica.

A monochromatic palette defines two visual modes: the black backdrop emphasizes the device’s sleek, professional design, while the white backdrop highlights content—including books, newspapers, magazines, and documents—prioritizing readability, clarity and functionality.
